At BattleCreek, we feel that we’ve created a fantastic way to help people grow individually in Christ and together in the context of community.

It’s called ADVANCE – a seven part trajectory of facilitated courses that will help you ADVANCE in your relationship with Christ. And in each one of these sections, you’ll find information specific to that course.

Know that our ADVANCE strategy is only a suggested track for growth. Don’t view these as a checklist for completion. Skip some. Come back to others multiple times.

But, please, try them. We’ve provided these modules for you to take your relationship with Christ to the next level – whatever that may be.
Maybe you barely made it in time for a worship experience on a Sunday morning and loved the music. Maybe your kids were so captivated by our crazy, cool, safe environments that you decided to check it out too. Or maybe a friend invited you to a community group.

However it is that you have engaged with us here at BattleCreek, we hope that your initial

experience has been nothing short of amazing.

So amazing, in fact, that you keep coming back. You don’t have to sign anything, make reservations, or call ahead. Just show up and let us take care of everything.
This evening with Alex is simply an opportunity to hear his story, his heart, and his vision of where The Church is heading.

In addition, Alex will share stories from his past, how he became a Christian, and how he ended up as a pastor.

He will also walk you through the early days of BattleCreek when we couldn’t afford to

leave lights on and pay the electric bill.

He’ll bring you up to speed on where we are now as a community and his vision to impact Tulsa, America, and the world.

At the end, if your heart connects with Alex, where we’ve been, or where we’re going, you have the opportunity to partner with us by becoming a member of BattleCreek.
So you’ve been to dinner with the pastor and heard Alex’s story and the incredible journey of how BattleCreek began, now find out where we’re going. Spend some time with other folks just like you who are new to this place and have the same questions.

Ask. Talk. Learn. Grow. We hope you’ll have a good time here and will get captured by where we believe God is taking us.
At our heart, we are a community of grace and truth.

Abide is simply an environment for you to experience, discover, and learn about grace and truth.

In these classes, you will learn how grace is absolutely central to understanding how we relate to God and each other. You will learn

how truth is vital to having a healthy perspective of God and each other. You will learn how grace and truth can walk hand-in-hand.

Maybe you’re a blank slate. Maybe you grew up in church. Either way, we want you to ask tough questions and explore grace in the context of truth.
Teachers. Doctors. Telemarketers. Accountants. Artists. Janitors. Musicians. Managers. Carpenters. Mothers. Or maybe you are The Guy Who Puts Salt On The Streets When It Snows.

It doesn’t matter what you do. At BattleCreek, we believe that God has wired you in such a way to uniquely impact the world.

We need you. We need your experiences. We need your heart and capabilities to be engaged, connected, and plugged in to our community. We have areas that need your passions. There are spheres that only you can speak into and assert influence.

We need you to do whatever it is that you do. Nucleus teaches you how to make that happen.
One of the pillars of our community is the idea that because God has given us an unbelievable amount of stuff – time, money, connections, influence – that we should somehow use it to be a blessing to our community, our nation, and our world.

We want to set you on a journey toward discovering that everything you have belongs to God, comes from God,

and is distributed by God. We believe that God has simply placed us in charge over the stuff he has given us.

We also believe that blessing does not equal stuff. However, if He chooses to give you those things, we truly believe that you have the privilege of getting to leverage them to be a blessing to others, and to bring glory to God.
Here at BattleCreek, we have a multi-generational, world-wide heartbeat. We really do believe that we can bring heaven to earth by working to combat the pains of hurt, hunger, disease, and abandonment – both around the world and in our surrounding communities.

But to do this, we cannot continue to huddle in our worship center on Sundays. So we go

on mission trips, start new churches, work in orphanages, serve the underprivileged, champion adoptions, and more.

Empower, we hope, is the catalyst for accomplishing this. We want to provide you with the tools necessary to realize your potential and drastically change the world.
